hi! i’m nicole, the creator of the lovely poppy. thanks so much for stopping by.
i live in a suburb close to milwaukee, wisconsin with my husband, puppy, and new son which we just welcomed into our family in december of 2012. i’m passionate about my day job, where i work for a program that helps children with autism and their families, but i also love coming home and creating for the lovely poppy. working with children with developmental disabilities pushes me to be creative in so many ways. the lovely poppy pushes me to be creative in a different way and the combination has been so invigorating for me. it’s therapeutic to walk into the studio and create something for someone else to enjoy and feel good wearing. my love for design and creating also inspired me to open poppy pixel designs in early 2012, where i design new spaces for handmade business owners to display their passions. between the lovely poppy, my full-time job, and now poppy pixel designs i certainly stay busy, but love every second of it.
