17 week update and a review

yesterday i reached the 17 week mark. things continue to go okay.. baby is healthy and i’ve started to feel him move (eeekk!), however my all day morning sickness has also included headaches and not being able to sleep. i know it’ll all be worth it in the end, but the days go by a lot slower when i’m not feeling well. thank you for your patience and understanding with my bare little blog lately.

i’ve gained a little bit of weight, but still am able to pull off most of my regular clothes that involve elastic. i gave in and bought a few things from gap online and the t-shirt above has been worn 6 times in the last 7 days (we have a quick turnaround for laundry here). i’m blown away with how expensive maternity clothes are, but have been able to catch some 25-40% off sales on gap’s website.

i received this beautiful cowl in the mail from jackie of world of jackie designs. it’s such high quality and feels little a little mini blanket around my neck. i can’t wait to wear it on cool summer evenings and basically all of fall. check out jackie’s facebook page here and take a look at all of her beautiful creations!!

dondalee’s love

getting mail is the best, isn’t it? a few weeks ago i got a lovely package from dondi at dondalee’s.

her packaging is adorable and a perfect example of branding. everything coordinates and reflects her products.

i love these stamped jar cards! perfect for notes to friends or family. or writing your husband a note to change the laundry when he gets home (wink, wink).

my fridge is much happier now that i have these adorable garden magnets (pssss they’re on sale right now!). the ring makes me happy and reminds me of my lovely handmade friends.

what’s the best thing you’ve ever received in the mail? do you stalk usps tracking every twenty minutes when there’s something you’re expecting, too?

the lovely kenye from glow kouture sent over my new favorite wallet. i was so excited to get the package on my lunch break, that i couldn’t wait to load it up with everything in my old (boring) wallet.

i love it because…

-it perfectly fits my necessities and favorites; such as my phone, money, credit cards, and lip gloss.

 -the pattern is unique and perfectly centered. i’m quite the shopper and am confident to say that i have never come across anything similar to this design.

a few weeks ago i got a darling package from jessica at jessican designs. she creates beautiful vintage handstamped silverware and jewelry. her packaging is delightful and reflects her brand perfectly. jessica sent over one of her new dog tags for bailey. isn’t it lovely?

 i love the antiqueness of the tag and that it’s one of a kind. she’s gotten so many compliments on it from our family.

bailey is also modeling a lovely poppy dog collar and i apologize for her shaggy-ness. thankfully, she just came home from the groomer and is able to see again.
