today i’m launching the new spring 2013 product line and first up is one of my favorite new wristlet clutches. 

Wristlet clutches can be used for a variety of purposes:
-a mini purse to carry credit cards, cash, lip gloss, your cell phone, etc.
-a diaper clutch to carry diapers, wipes, pacifiers, etc.
-a gadget case to carry headphones, ipods, etc.
-a makeup case to carry powder, lip stick, etc.
-a jewelry holder to carry your necklaces, rings, etc.

i love mine and can’t wait to share some additional color combos for the spring line. swing on over to the shop to check everything out!

a few weeks before nolan was born i started designing some new wristlets and cosmetic pouches. i knew that in 2013 i wanted to take some of my products in a new direction and love the idea of wristlets. so fun to pack in your purse or move into your diaper bag if you don’t want to lug around a lot of bags. i’ve been busy narrowing down a few fabric combinations and final measurements, but wanted to give you a sneak peak.

i’ve also started to put together a few prototypes for tote bags. lace, ruffles and bright colors- ahhh my favorite!!

sewing during nap times has been very therapeutic for me. even a few minutes behind the machine seems to energize me after a long night or early morning. i’m hoping to get into a routine (or hoping nolan gets into a routine) within the next few weeks, so that i can have product releases scheduled.

today i’m celebrating my 28th birthday, 38 weeks of pregnancy and one of my favorite days of the year- cyber monday.

also, today is the last GUARANTEED day that the shop will be open, although i’ll be trying to stay open as long as possible before nolan gets here. if you have something in mind, i’d highly suggest getting it today- plus today is all about online shopping, right?!?

i’ve had a lot of interest in the ruffled ruched slipcovers lately, so i put together a few new patterns. i love how they are rufflely (is that even a word?) and they are backed with either denim or linen canvas.  they’re all listed in the shop and ready to be shipped to a new home.

since becoming pregnant the shop has taken a bit of a backseat. however, due to needing additional  income for daycare, diapers, and other baby necessities i’ll be focusing more on the shop and my design business, in addition to working full time. three months before baby nolan (sept. 12th) is due i will be reopening the etsy shop with plenty of handmade goodies for you and your loved ones. stay tuned for for discount codes and maybe… just maybe a grand reopening giveaway.
