we’ve been busy preparing for our little one to arrive in four short months. we recently found out that we’re having a boy, which has allowed me to shop for outfits. our ultrasounds indicate that baby has LONG, LONG legs just like her mommy and daddy (6’3” and 6’5”), which has made me a little tentative about buying clothes because i’m worried they won’t fit. i’m doing pretty well with holding off on buying clothes and hope to not buy much until we meet him in december.
he’s currently got about 6 outfits in his closet, some have been gifts and others we’ve bought ourselves. while going through boxes in the basement i discovered a few additional outfits to add to his collection. you may be wondering why i have baby clothes in the basement. unfortunately, we’ve bought baby clothes for another one of our family members- bailey! baby b will be getting some hand-me-downs from bailey. yes, our first born baby boy, will be getting outfits that our dog wore.
when bailey had surgery last year she didn’t tolerate the cone around her head, so i bought her some onesies. they worked like a charm and kept her from licking her wounds, not to mention it was fairly entertaining to see my dog walking around the house in baby clothes.
he won’t be wearing the purple polka dot onesie on top, but you can certainly count on seeing him in this nfl football onesie during the games on sunday afternoons.
How cute! and those cones are an expensive hassle. Don’t feel bad…you’ll wash it before your baby wears it..lol.
Awww, Bailey is too cute in the onesies! I’ve tempted to my shi tzu Beau in one many times!
