rechargin’

i’ve been under the weather for a few weeks now and unfortunately, this little blog of mine hasn’t been a priority. i’m still managing to work full-time and keep up on orders- but my bed has been a priority over posting. i’m hoping to feel better soon and share some new projects and inspiration with you soon. tentatively, i’m planning on being back around  may 15th.

in the meantime, head on over to thirty handmade days and check out my heartfelt post regarding autism.

“I often wonder if I could leave my full time job. Yes, I’d love to stay home and try to run a successful business like many of you- but I’d miss it. I’d miss getting a phone call from a mother who is coming home from the doctor’s office after her child is diagnosed with autism. I’d miss hearing the tremble in her voice and knowing there was something I could do to help. I’d miss hanging up the phone and start thinking of ways to program for her child.”

  1. Don’t worry about the blog. We’ll be here and waiting for when you get back, just get better and take care of yourself. I have a close friend with a young adult son who has Autism. He has a job and he’s a very sweet, gentle and genuine soul, thanks to his own efforts and the hard work and love from his mother. I feel privileged to know him.
